It’s not every day that pediatric patients look out the windows of their hospital rooms to be greeted by Batman, Superman and Captain America.

Window washers recently dressed as superheroes, thrilling pediatric patients at McLane Children’s Scott & White Hospital – Temple. The visit offered a pleasant distraction, brightening the days of those too sick to leave their hospital rooms.

This “super-sized” surprise brought smiles to some of our youngest patients.

Spending time in a hospital can be taxing both mentally and physically, especially on children. But at McLane Children’s, we know that sometimes the best medicine is a smile.
