Ana-Alecia’s infectious attitude defies cancer in Chemo Dance Party 2.0

She’s baaack!!

Ana-Alecia Ayala wants to make you smile. If you don’t believe that, then watch the video of her dancing during a chemotherapy session at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas that has already been viewed by millions of people. Take a look at the infectious segment of her visit to the Ellen DeGeneres show inspiring others with cancer.

Ayala was at it again this week.  Her latest video is simply titled Chemo Dance Party 2.0.

She’s seen in a hospital room, wearing a Be Strong t-shirt, and dancing to Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling from the movie Trolls — notice the pink headbands. Her good friend Danielle Andrus is by her side.

“This isn’t about dancing or singing, this is about finding your own happiness,” said Ana-Alecia. “Discover whatever makes you smile or laugh or feel good and hold onto it for as long as you can.”

Ana-Alecia always had these beliefs. Cancer just made them stronger.

She now spends her free time answering emails from perfect strangers and giving support where it is needed.

“A lot of people have been reaching out to me looking for that sense of hope, and I’m trying to give them that, I’m trying to inspire them,” Ana-Alecia said.

“Explore."

In recent weeks she visited some of the caregivers at Baylor Dallas.  That inspiration was not lost on the men and women who care for patients like her everyday.

Take a look.
