Jacqueline Phillips-Sabol, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, exposes some misconceptions about Alzheimer’s and offers a look inside the nerve degenerative disorder to help families better understand what their loved ones are going through.
She also discusses the risk factors and symptoms of Alzheimer’s, and the possible treatment options available to those diagnosed with the disorder. Although there is no cure, Phillips-Sabol says there are many treatment options to help prolong the lives of Alzheimer’s patients.
