Formerly Conjoined Twins Finally Head Home

Some of the most special things come in twos. This is especially true for Dave and Jenni Ezell, proud parents of Emmett and Owen—the formerly-conjoined twins born belly button to breast bone.

The twins were born in July at a local children’s hospital before moving to Our Children’s House at Baylor in Dallas last April for rehabilitation. 

Today, both Emmett and Owen will be heading home for the first time, but this doesn’t come without challenges. The twins will continue physical, speech and occupational therapy—which is hard work for the young duo.
