5.  SLIM DOWN YOUR DAILY COFFEE

Did you know that the smallest size Starbucks lattes have up to 400 calories? If you’re craving that daily cup of joe, settle for skinny. Try a cup of black coffee substituting skim milk for high-calorie coffee creamer.

6.  SWAP SNACKS FOR HEALTHIER OPTIONS

If you want to avoid high-calorie processed munchies, avoid the snack aisles in the grocery store. If you’re craving something crunchy, buy a bag of assorted nuts (unsalted), or some carrots and celery.

7.  TAKE THE STAIRS

Switch up your normal routine and take a flight of stairs on your way up to work in the morning. A little extra walking a day will help you to live a more active lifestyle.

Small steps lead to big changes. Keep in mind that change is not immediate. Diets are temporary, but gradual lifestyle changes can be permanent.
