Scott & White is offering a variety of safety events during the second week of our National Safety Month observance.
On Monday, June 7, the Temple Police Department will be located at the Scott & White Temple Towne Center Pediatric Clinic from 1 – 2 p.m. to provide free bicycle safety checks and information on safe riding protocol.
The Temple Fire Department will make its fire safety house available on the front lawn of Scott & White between 1 and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8. The mobile facility provides a hands-on learning experience for children emphasizing the importance of home fire safety, including recognizing common in-home fire hazards, learning how to respond to a smoke alarm and how to safely escape a smoke-filled room.
On Wednesday, June 9, the Temple Police Department will provide free child identification services from 1-3 p.m. in the Ambulatory Pediatric Clinic on the main Temple campus. Information and images gathered could play a vital role in the event a child becomes missing.
Tell your family members and friends, who may be off for the summer with their children that these are great safety activities to participate in.
